Horrible Scammers Screwing Multiple People Over by Not Refunding Canceled Classes
1.0

I signed up and paid for a class that was canceled three times. When I asked for a refund, they refused! Details: I registered for a beginner class in January, scheduled for April 3rd. I received no information until I emailed them a week before, expressing my frustration over their poor communication. They replied with a text, informing me that the class had been rescheduled to a date a MONTH later. Annoyed, but willing to accommodate, I rearranged my work schedule. I had to text them again for class details as they still were not communicating information, only to be told it was postponed another two weeks. Once again, I adjusted my schedule. Then, after driving over an hour to the city (I live outside Calgary) and booking a holiday around the new class dates, I received a text just four hours before the start time, stating it was rescheduled yet again, this time three weeks later. So at this point the start class for April 3rd was now June 12th!! So no longer the spring class that I had time for as summer for me is too busy. Fed up, I requested a full refund, which they denied, offering to sign me up for another class instead. I refused, having lost all trust in them. After some research, I found numerous others who had been similarly scammed – paying for headshots they never received and classes that were perpetually canceled or moved without refunds. It appears their strategy is to collect payments for classes, then keep rescheduling or canceling them to keep the money. Positive reviews are outdated, suggesting they might have been reputable years ago but have now turned into scammers. Advice: Stay away unless you enjoy wasting money for nothing!
