Marta Hanrahan, owner of Myosense, has been my massage therapist for more than a decade. She seems to have an innate and intuitive understanding of the human body, and she has added to this by educating herself on a continuing basis. She is a highly-skilled therapist who also is qualified in the Rolf method of structural integration and in yoga tune-up. She stands out from others in two distinct ways: one is her creativity, finding ways to approach clients’ conditions by using props and techniques that she has devised or improvised; the other is her generosity, in sharing her knowledge with clients and colleagues both in person and online. She is a mentor to other massage therapists and has kept her practice going during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a safe place for those who benefit from her work.
